Camping reservations may be made up to one year in advance of arrival, but, except for cabin rentals and holiday weekends, are generally not necessary until about two weeks ahead. Reservations are not needed for digging, unless you have a group. If you wish to make a reservation, the following policies apply:
DIRECT RESERVATIONS --
The following are to be paid in full when you make the reservation:
- holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day; 2-night minimum)
- reservations made more than 4 months in advance
- cabin rentals
- group camping
Any other camping requires a one-night deposit, which may be guaranteed with a credit card.
GROUPS --
- a group is at least 15 people
- one person makes all the arrangements
- if your group does not make a digging reservation, they will not receive a group rate
CANCELLATION --
- cabins at any time -- for a refund of the deposit (minus $5 handling for credit card transactions), you must notify us at least 7 days before scheduled arrival. With less than 7 days' notice, the fee is one night's rental.
- any site on a holiday weekend -- for a refund of the deposit (minus $5 handling for credit card transactions), you must notify us at least 7 days before scheduled arrival. With less than 7 days' notice, the fee is one night's rental.
- tent or RV sites (non-holidays) -- for a refund of the deposit (minus $5 handling for credit card transactions), you must notify us at least 2 days before scheduled arrival. With less than 2 days' notice, the fee is one night's rental.
ON-LINE RESERVATIONS --
These are handled by a third party. All reservations are paid in full by credit card. Cancellations must be made to us -- if at least 7 days before scheduled arrival, your entire payment minus $5 will be refunded; if less than 7 days' notice, then the fee is one night's rental.
